We met in a philosophy class our freshman year at UR and bonded over indie music and our shared scholarship. Soon, we were co-hosting a college radio show together, and since then, Sam's fantastic baked goods, favorite albums, and our chatty walks have been a fixture of my life.

We met through friends in eighth grade and solidified our friendship through teenage summers spent working at the infamous "Schooner's Riverside Pub." Sitting in an outdoor cafe while Alicia tells the funniest story in the world is one of my favorite places to be.

Our wedding ceremony and reception will be held in downtown Rochester, New York, Molly's hometown. For those flying in, ROC airport is 13 minutes away from the venues by car. Buses, Ubers, and Lyfts run from the airport to the city center, so renting a car is not necessary.

This is the former home of George Eastman, the Kodak photography pioneer. There's a lot of amazing photography exhibits, film screenings, and beautiful gardens to check out. Plus, it's right in the heart of the city!

The indoor/outdoor public market is a Rochester institution, and a great spot for Saturday breakfast or lunch. Be sure to try Juan and Maria's for empanadas, Cherry's European for pierogie plates, and Balsam for bagels.

Not just for kids!! (Just ask me or Molly!) Has the National Toy Hall of Fame plus awesome exhibits about comic books, board games, favorite childhood books, and a great pinball room. I bet half of you have probably received a postcard from me from here! Gaming restaurant Nerdvana is just around the corner from here, so come celebrate in true Jon and Molly fashion by grabbing a bite to eat and playing some games.

Abbott's is a Rochester staple. Molly loves their chocolate almond, I really like their vanilla with sprinkles. Short walk over to Ontario Beach Park, but be careful it can get SUPER windy! If you're sticking around long enough for a meal, Windjammers just down the street has killer wings. Do the spicy maple ones!!

Seabreeze's last weekend for the year! Come slay the Screamin' Eagle, Jack the Rabbit, and the PREME. (Shoutout to the three people that are in on this joke.) C'mon, how can you come to Jon and Molly's wedding and NOT ride a roller coaster?

This huge, beautiful museum is just 2 blocks away from the ceremony site. Monet, Matisse, and tons of offbeat art. As a kid, I absolutely loved taking a zine making class here, and then as a high schooler, I made some of my favorite memories helping out at an art class for 4-6 year olds. Fun fact: We considered having our wedding here! Come check it out to see if we made the right call or not (:

I love running or biking here via the Gennessee River Trail. You can start in the city and go all the way to the lake if you want!

Turning Point Park

A beautiful conservatory located right by the reservoir, which has great views, and within Highland Park arboretum. Highland is one of our really well designed Frederick Olmsted parks, alongside Seneca Park and Durand Eastman. And a childhood favorite for rolling down hills and tree climbing. Definitely check out the Sunken Garden!
